Laurin Elza

Laurin Cameron

Laurin joined our team in March of 2019. You will find her assisting the Doctor and occasionally up front to greet you.

Laurin grew up in West Farmington and graduated from Bristol High School. She now resides in Cortland with her husband, Tyler, their dogs Boe and Hammer, and their cat Kit Kat. Laurin has always had a love of animals and grew up caring for a variety of them including cats, dogs, chinchillas and sugar gliders. In her spare time, Laurin enjoys fishing, riding four wheelers, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Fun fact about Laurin, she has a twin sister! Laurin looks forward to many years of helping make your pets visit to our office a great one!

Danielle Penttila

Registered Veterinary Technician

Danielle is a registered veterinary technician with over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. She is Fear Free certified and ensures patients have the best care possible. Danielle has a passion for dentistry, exotic animal care and wildlife rehabilitation.

Danielle has an assortment of companion animals and has a hobby farm. She enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and two daughters.

Abby Wren


Abby joined the team as a receptionist in the Fall of 2020 as a receptionist. She went to high school in Perry, Ohio and is now attending the University of Akron studying Biology.

After college, Abby plans to go to Veterinary School. She is gaining plenty of experience working at GVVH.

Abby enjoys caring for her two horses, two geese, fourteen ducks, thirteen guinea fowl, eight chickens and a dog named Eight.

Lindsey Elza

Veterinary Assistant

Lindsey grew up in West Farmington and attended Bristol High School. She now lives in Bristolville with her boyfriend Jimmie and her cat Simba.

Lindsey grew up caring for a lot of animals, guinea pigs, chinchillas, sugar gliders, cats and dogs.

Lindsey’s hobbies include fishing, hunting, concerts, riding side by sides, hanging out with family and friends. She looks forward to caring for your animals for many years.


Kathy Cool


Kathy joined the team as a receptionist in March, 2022. She has fifteen years of experience in the medical and veterinary fields. Her love of animals brought her here.

Kathy grew up in Warren, graduated from Southington High School and is now living in Champion with her cat Willie.

Kathy’s hobbies include traveling, camping, movies reading and swimming.
